Daniel C. Brown, former deacon at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church became an Associate Minister at the church when he recently gave his first sermon. Brown is a 1989 graduate of Bastrop High School where he excelled as a student and athlete, and he received a football scholarship to Howard Payne University where he received a degree in marketing management.
