The Coupland Civic Organization will host its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, on the grounds of Coupland’s historic Depot. Many locales have moved their National Night Out to October, but Coupland continues to hold it on the original August date.

All are welcome to come at 6:30 for a free hot dog supper and homemade cookies. Visit with friends and neighbors and hear helpful information about fire safety from the Coupland Volunteer Fire Department. Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Kreidel, who is also a Coupland resident, will discuss crime in our area and crime prevention.

During this event, the historic caboose will be open to the public, so that residents can see the progress that has been made on the caboose restoration. There is usually a nice breeze in the shade of the Depot. Please bring lawn chairs.
