Compass Rose, a San Antonio-based system of public charter schools, is preparing for the upcoming school year at a brand-new campus in Bastrop County.The new Compass Rose campus will reside in a retail building at 118 Stephen F. Austin Boulevard, west of Bastrop near The Colony neighborhood. The Bastrop Compass Rose school will start this fall with students in grades from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade, with plans to add an additional grade level each year.
