Groups of children sat in a fenced area where they were able to pet the animals that sat in their laps. Last Tuesday, Tiny Tails, a traveling petting zoo, set up shop in the Elgin Public Library. Children were invited to come see and pet the different animals. Photos by Joshua Orr
The bunnies were certainly a hit amongst the children who attended the Tiny Tails petting zoo.
A turtle held by the Tiny Tails employees were walked around and presented to the children for them to see.
A lizard was walked around the petting zoo area for the children to pet and admire.
Some younger children sat in their parents' laps to enjoy the animals of the petting zoo.
Some of the children were very excited to pet every animal they could.
The Tiny Tails workers also held and presented different animals for the children to pet.
