Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic with conditions changing constantly, it will not be possible to hold our traditional in-person Hogeye Festival celebrations, but we want to continue to support the community, and raise awareness of Downtown Elgin and the Main Street program.

We will be providing sponsorship opportunities in order to support the marketing and promotion of local businesses and the downtown area. We will have extensive online marketing of the district and Elgin through our social media channels and some paid advertising such as radio and print. We are continuing to work with our local businesses to develop virtual and limited in person events that can be conducted in a safe manner and that meets all local, state and federal recommendations. We will continue to offer the Emergency COVID-19 Marketing grant, which provides a $100 monthly reimbursement to downtown area businesses for marketing expenses.

We thank you for all of the support provided to the festival and to the continued redevelopment of the downtown area. We look forward to working together and to a hogtastic celebration in 2021; save the date, October 21 - 23, 2021!
