Elijah A. Chaudhary, age 8, passed away as a result of a traffic accident in Cedar Park on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.

He was born on May 31, 2009, in Minneapolis, Minn. He was a student at Neidig Elementary in Elgin, up until fall 2017, when he began at Winkley Elementary in Leander.

Eli was an effervescent and delightful child with a lot of love to offer. He never met a person or animal he didn’t try to charm. He faced many struggles in life after being diagnosed with autism at age 3, but worked tirelessly every day to conquer them. God blessed him with five life-changing years of ABA therapy, which transformed him from a frustrated, non-verbal toddler to a bubbly and joyful chatterbox.

So many people, therapists, teachers and children were touched by Eli. We, his family most of all, were amazed by Eli and loved him with every ounce of our being. We know our savior Jesus lovingly swept him up into his arms, ushered him into heaven and he is joyfully playing nonstop now with his little brother, Daniel.

He is survived by his mother Tansy Silva, stepdad, Roland Silva, brothers Enzo, Liam and Gabe, sister Serrena and his three dogs: Ruger, Colt and Laika; as well as his father, Salman Chaudhary and stepmother, Zara Salman, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Sadly, his little brother Daniel went to heaven with him in this accident.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Eli touched were invited to a memorial at Beck Funeral Home in Pflugerville on Friday, Jan. 19 or at Lost Pines Cowboy Church in Elgin, on Saturday, Jan 20 to grieve, support each other, and reminisce.
